“行者”培训营

honestly, this is the most impressive camp i'd ever joint.. it had made changes towards my soul and my thought..deeply.. this motivation camp is called “行者”培训营, organized and promoted by 传闻法师,妙赞法师 and with the help from 菩提工作坊 and others. before i joint this camp, i assumed it might just more or less the same as the others.. actually i heard bout this camp from KBS senior, but i never thought that this camp in fact is the most extraordinary activity i'd ever involved in. the camp was held for 3 days..from 16-18 august at 鹤鸣禅寺 (Jalan Chow Kit, KL), we'r the 16th batch participants. during the camp, we attended talks..sharings..activities..and so forth.. the particular part which took me aback was the game named "Game Of Life" (生命的游戏)..it is really the game of life, you all might wonder what do i mean by that..come, try it then you'll know and store it deeply in your heart which you'll never forget and made it the reminder for your entire life. there were 12 teams of us, it took us 8 hours (3.30pm-11.30pm) to pass this game team after team..at the mean while we're not allowed to have our meal until we got the right solution. my family were on cloud nine when we finally did it..the 2nd group to solve the hurdle. though it's time consuming, but we got pleasure from the activity as we finally be aware of the point which the speaker tried to bring out. (..i nearly cried when the inspector said "yes, you did it..you all passed"..i never felt this joy before..never T_T..) i was so glad to meet my "family" (行者之家), cheerful and lovely family in this camp, from the youngest 20 to the oldest 60. felt like we knew each other somehow before we met..it's heart warming and i will miss them a lot.. through this camp, i had learnt to live again (reborn), to feel my daily life, to observe the surrouding (people and facts), to communicate with myself and to creat a better path for my life.. i love this message from 传闻法师--〉“活在当下,欢喜再做下一次” it had encouraged me to keep on going and doing.. i was so thankfull to UTAR buddhist society for giving me this opportunity, thanks to the founder of this one and the only camp, and thanks to all my merit, my good karma, my positive fate..which brought me to this camp.. i am going to join the 2nd part of next batch if all these advantages come to me again.. :)

KL triP o8o8o8

recently i'd took a trip to KL on 08.08.08 (Olympic Openin Day) with my coursemate Yik Mun, she invited me to over night at her house and we spent a weekend in KL after we had finished all our mid terms and assignments plus presentation.. relaxe relaxe ma.. she introduced me to few shops in time square and sungai wang which sell delicious food and nice clothes..

this cheesy baked rice really taste good..

i like this "wu dong noodles" too..besides trying new food, i had bought some dressing and make up items..he..gal just love shopping.. oh ya..i'd tried Turkey's ice cream in sungai wang..mm..the favour is slightly different from the ice cream we usually eat..bit sandy..

strawberries with honey..the mixture of sweet and sour..hehe..

on the next day, yik mun and her family brought me to One Utama..the shopping mall which i always wish to visit whenever i am in KL..finally i made it. ^^"' i cant imagine how much we had eaten that day.. we had our lunch at "Nyonya Colours" with curry noodles, nasi lemak (best!! try it..) and so on, of course we tried the nyonya kueh.

then we proceed to a japanese restaurant "Yoshinoya", we ordered 2 set meals and shared among 5 of us.

*****thanks lot to yik mun's dad and mum for treat me eat those delicious food..cause it's quite expensice to me la..maybe to them it's normal as they live in KL area..*****

yik mun and i did something crazy which was we had been none stop eating that whole day in One U.. after eating the nyonya lunch and japanese meal, we continued with taiwan "shi lin night market" famous fried chichen shop, baskin robbins (gold medal ribbon favour), and starbucks Frappuchino.. i think i had lost my mind cause i am already so full yet i still wanted to try those food and drink..hahaha..

hahaha..finally i tried Starbucks..honestly i was so excited..cause i had been waiting for the chance to have a try since i finished my MP (Management Principle) and English For Business subject's presentation topic on Starbucks. ever since after the presentations, we felt so familiar with Starbucks Corporation, because we presented twice, the background, the stories, the founder, the slogan @ logo and so on.. once we heard about "Starbucks", it just caught our attention easily..haha..

anyway, thanks lot to yik mun for her accompany during the trip and her lovely family..bit sad that i forgot to take photo with them before i left..thanks lot uncle leong for the medicine oil he gave for "tie da" and others..
looking forward for my next trip..where will i go?? mm..i'm wondering about it too.. he..
